Building Update
          We want to take this time to thank all of you who prayed fervently for the work that ensued on the roof of the Betikara building.  As you will see, all of the trusses are in place and we are proud to report that God does answer prayer here in Madagascar.

          After the last newsletter the workers held a meeting and prayed about the forthcoming work of placing the trusses for the Betikara roof.  It was decided at that time to do the work by hand and not hire a crane.  God protected the workers and no one was hurt during the two and one half weeks needed to set the trusses in place.

Games for the Betikara Lambs
          The Lambs waited patiently, and now they are starting to reap the rewards.  Some of you sent donations for Christmas in order to provide group games for the Lambs.  We made an order for Ping Pong tables quite some time ago.  We received a promise that two Ping Pong tables will be ready for delivery before Easter.  So time is drawing close.  The children are all anxiously awaiting the delivery.  Once the tables arrive we will be sure to include them in next months newsletter.
 
New Billiard Table
New Soccer Game

          We just recently purchased, and received delivery of two other games for the Betikara Lambs.  One Billiard table, Malagasy hand crafted, and one Soccer game, also Malagasy hand crafted.  Both of these games are used extensively by the Malagasy people throughout the country, and they are getting a good break in here at Betikara.
          We also have plans to make hoops and put up two basket ball backboards for outdoor recreation.  We are still in the planning stage mostly because the area that we want to use for basketball is currently under about three feet of left over gravel that we used to pour the footers, floors and ring beams for the building.  Once the gravel is moved, we will not be long in erecting the backboards.  This will compliment the soccer field that is just below the building that the lambs are already using on a regular basis.
          The Lambs send a big thank you to all who contributed towards their recreational needs.
