Greetings from America,
That is right! We have
finally arrived and are one month into our stay presently. We are
doing well. Tired from the fast pace we have been keeping, but happy
to see all of you once again. So far we have been able to visit with several
congregations and answer many of their questions personally. Just
being able to talk to people helps them see how much we have really enjoyed
the last 2 1/2 years of our lives. The Lord has blessed us in so
many ways. Good health, safety, patience, endurance and great friends
both here and in Kenya are just a few of the blessings we have received.
As we continue to travel
to see other congregations and individuals we want you to feel free to
ask us any questions that may be on your minds. We know we are not
staying long at any one place. This cannot be helped, so if you can
write down any questions ahead of time we will try and answer all of them
upon arrival in your areas. Many of your questions may be answered
when you see our slide presentation concerning the Lords work among the
Luo people for the past 2 1/2 years. Our aim is to inform and help
you understand the work that is going on in South Nyanza presently.
Stacy, Kit and myself would
like to thank all of the people who have opened their homes or will be
opening their homes to us in the future. To be able to visit
individually with families is very exciting and uplifting. Many of
you we don’t know on a first name basis, and visiting in this way helps
to draw us closer together in the Lord and His work. We can all grow
by sharing our experiences and thoughts.
Please continue to remember
us as we travel on the roads daily. Just driving in America takes
on a whole new meaning after being in Kenya. We are anxious to be
with you and looking forward to our meeting in the near future. We
continue to pray for you and thank the Lord for your support, both spiritually
and physically. May the Lord bless you as richly as He has us as
we continue to do His will.
In His Service,
Barry, Stacy and Kit Rosie
