Dear Fellow Christians,

    May grace, peace and mercy be showered down upon you from our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ.  We trust that this newsletter finds you all
well and striving to grow in the faith of Jesus.  We are all well, and
continue to try to serve our master daily.
    My parents (Roger and Doris Rosie) arrived safely in Kenya on the
12th of last month.  Since that time we have been enjoying their company
and showing them the work as it presently is in South Nyanza.  They have
come on a one year round trip plane ticket and will be leaving on
September 29, 1990.  With this we have been blessed richly.
     The church continues to show strength in many ways.  One
congregation has four men that are apt to teach, who are taking turns
walking each Sunday, two hours one way, to work with a new congregation
that has grown to have more than 25 Christians in attendance.  Other
congregations continue to be uplifted weekly and monthly by area
fellowship meetings and worship services.  This helps us greatly in that
we can now teach several congregations at the same time instead of one.
Many of our congregations continue to plead with us to come and work
with them on a weekly basis.  However, this is not possible at the
present time for various reasons.  First, South Nyanza has over 3000
square miles to cover.  And second, one family cannot possibly teach all
of the churches that still need teaching on a weekly basis.  Therefore
we ask you to pray for, and help two families if at all possible, that
are presently seeking support to join us here.  They are Roger and Sue
Moon, and David and Becky High.  We feel that both of these families
could be an asset to the work of the Lord here in Luo land.  The Lord
has said "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few:
Pray ye therefore the Lord of harvest, that He will send forth labourers
into His harvest."  Matthew 9:37,38.  There are labourers that are
seeking to enter the harvest of South Nyanza presently, but who will
send them?  Could you help?  Think about it.

blessings upon you.  May you continue to grow in the knowledge and
