Fellow Christians in the Kingdom,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Hope this finds you are
all well.  We are all well these days.  I know you have been thinking about  and praying
for me this last month and for this I am grateful.  Since the seizure that happened on the
24th of February I have not had any more problems. For this we praise the Lord.  However,
just to be sure the doctor wants me to be on seizure medication for at least one year.  If
after that time I have had no recurrence, then I will be taken off the medication.
It has been a very busy month for us.  We have been making preparations for the long
awaited visit from the David High family (Becky, David's wife, Daniel and Courtney), who
arrive here in just two more days for a month long visit.  We are very excited about this
and pray that their stay will be fruitful.  Many preparations have been made for showing
them the work, and some of the many customs of the Luo people.
Please pray for us as we will all be making decisions that will affect the work here
in South Nyanza.  The High family will have a big decision to make upon returning to the
States.  Lord willing they will be coming to work with us near the end of this year.  We
pray the Lords help in making the right decision for their family, and in being able to
raise the necessary funds to work among the Luo people of South Nyanza, if that is their
desire.
Also, please continue to pray for the Roger Moon family, who is Lord willing, going
to be arriving in Kenya in June of this year.  The name and address of their sponsoring
congregation is:

                         Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ
                         2031 East 30th Street
                         Indianapolis, Indiana  46218

if you desire to contact them or help with their support in any way.  Maybe you would like
to write them, if for no other reason than to encourage them in the work they are planning
to do in the Lords Vineyard.
We ask you to continue to remember the Lord's work here among the Luo people.  Please
pray for an increase in spiritual understanding and growth among the Christians.  Also,
please beseech the Lord on behalf of the Luo people because recently there has been more
rain than usual and many Christians in the southern part of the district have been flooded
out and had to move to higher ground.
As I close this letter I again ask for your continued prayers on behalf of the Luo
people and ourselves.  Please write when you have time, and maybe give us a call.  The
number is always at the top of our newsletters.  May the Lord bless you in your daily
service to Him.

In His Service,

Barry J. Rosie
