Dear fellow laborers in God's vineyard,

Here is hoping that all your lives are being as richly blessed as ours
are.  The Lord continues to show us  His strength and care as the days  and
weeks pass by.  All  of us are doing well  physically and continue to  grow
spiritually as we serve our Lord here in South Nyanza.
We want  to take  this opportunity  to thank  all of  the  "anonymous"
contributors to the vehicle fund.   May the Lord  richly bless you in  your
service to Him.  We thank you for your generosity and concern for the  work
here in  South Nyanza.   Some  have even  given $1,000.00  towards the  new
vehicle.  We appreciate your willingness  to help and are assured that  God
will repay one hundred fold for your contribution.
For those that are not anonymous  contributors, we also thank you  for
making it possible for the work among  the Luo people to continue.  In  the
near future we will  let all of  you know the  outcome of your  generosity,
when a final accounting has been made of the funds given.
In the April  newsletter Stacy  wrote about Otieno  and Achieng',  who
have been married for over thirteen years, and only have one son.  It is my
privilege to be able to report on  the birth of their second child, a  son.
God truly does provide to those that follow and serve Him.  Mother and  son
are doing well.  We hope that this has brought a little sunshine into  your
day.  Also, that  it will encourage Christians,  not only in South  Nyanza,
but the world  over to have  faith in,  and wait on  God.  He  truly is  in
control of our lives, and blesses us when we are faithful.
On May 3rd we were blessed by the arrival of a third family to work in
Luo land.   The  High  family (David,  Becky,. Daniel and  Courtneay),  are
presently studying Luo in Nairobi.  They will be coming to Kisii in  August
of this year after  3 months of  language study.  This  should give them  a
good start in the language.  We  thank the Lord for their safe arrival  and
His help in the work among the Luo people of South Nyanza.
Please remember the High family, as  well as the Moons and  ourselves,
as we grow together in the Lords work.  We pray for good team relationships
between the three families, and ask you to do the same.  May we all grow in
love and be united in God's Kingdom both here in Kenya and in America.

His servant,

Barry J. Rosie
