Purpose of Betikara:
To educate Malagasy people (children and
adults) to be spiritually and physically responsible, to God and to each other.

You can be helping Malagasy street kids become
Jesus' Kids!

You can pray. 
Without Him, we can do nothing. Praying is the
most important thing you can do for this effort. Please pray that He may lead and
provide, so that homeless Malagasy children can become Jesus Kids.
You can sponsor a child.
For $75.00 a month you can help feed, clothe,
educate a child and provide for the medical needs of that child. We
would like to encourage you, your church group or your
congregation to sponsor a child. We will help you get to know your child. You
will receive progress reports via correspondence. You will also receive pictures of your child
from time to time.
If you do not want to sponsor a child for
$75.00 a month you can also sponsor a child for $25.00 a month
or $50.00 a month. Some of our children have three different
sponsors that each contribute $25.00 a month. Just send us an
e-mail message or postal message concerning your desire to
sponsor and we will provide you with information on a child/children
in need of sponsors.

The Betikara Orphanage now has the ability to
accept donations from Individuals directly via their credit card,
debit card, or bank account. These options may vary depending
on the different countries where you live. This ability to
donate directly is possible through a new secure PayPal
account that was opened in the name of
the Betikara Orphanage by the Betikara overseeing church in Indiana,
Pennsylvania.
If you already have a PayPal account then
donating to the Betikara Orphanage will be easy. If you do not have
a PayPal account you can still donate via PayPal by using your
credit card, or debit card. If you open a PayPal account then you
can also donate directly from your bank account by linking your bank
account to PayPal.

In the memo area of your donation checks you
can write several different things. However, all things written in the memo area of your
checks should begin with "Betikara". This will help those
receiving donation checks for Betikara to know that the checks are
specifically for Betikara and not for the Three Chopt Road Church of
Christ. Please read below for ideas concerning what you can write in
the memo area of your checks.
"Betikara -
____________" Which is
Betikara - Followed by the name of the child you sponsor. Like this
example: "Betikara - Lanto"
"Betikara -
Andry's Dialysis"
"Betikara - General
Donation"
"Betikara - Building Fund"
"Betikara - In Memory of ________________"
The above examples are
what individuals or churches will use most often. If you find that
what you want to donate for is not listed above please write the
reason for your donation on the memo line of the check. However, "Betikara" should be included first on
the memo line.
Using "Three Chopt
Church of Christ" without the word "Road" will also work
for those of you who want to use "Bill
Pay". I was told that "Bill Pay" will only accept 32
characters. Writing "Three Chopt Church of Christ" is only 28
characters. Just be sure to put
"Betikara" first in the memo (called "note" by some websites) area
of the checks that will be sent to the Three Chopt Road Church of
Christ.

Willed money, memorials or trust
funds
Anyone wishing to contribute to BETIKARA through wills, memorials or trust
funds should contact the Three Chopt Road Church of Christ at the
above postal or e-mail address. Barry J. Rosie will not be handling
any more e-mail messages concerning gifts to Betikara. All
gifts should be directed to the Three Chopt Road Church of

future all messages concerning willed money, memorials or trust
funds that are sent via e-mail to Barry J. Rosie will be either
